About me

Hi! My name is Andrea Paustjan.

I was born Andrea Fierros Zubía in Mexico in 1998. I am a cultural manager with a degree from the University of Guadalajara, trained as a translator at the Instituto Superior de Estudios para Traductores e Intérpretes (Higher Education Institute for Translation and Interpreting in Mexico City), ISETI, and court-authorized translator in Mexico since 2024.

Given my passion for art, history, languages, and new cultures, I decided to embark on an exciting adventure to Germany in 2019. Five years later, I am married to a German man and am currently based between the cities of Hermosillo and Bonn, where I work as a freelance translator and museum guide.

My academic background and diverse professional and multicultural experiences have allowed me to explore different fields and acquire knowledge in several disciplines. These include social, cultural and museum work, tourism, law, gastronomy, and migration and mortuary translation.

Since 2023 I have been providing general translation services in German, Spanish and English, working on projects with great accuracy and cultural awareness. My goal is to help overcome linguistic barriers between people and institutions from different parts of the world to bring cultures closer together.

I look forward to working with you and making your projects a linguistic and intercultural success!
